MackSolo Team Update – Day 106 ✈️ 🌍
Mack is in Kolkata, #India 🇮🇳 - the colonial naming of "Calcutta" having been replaced by its original Bengali pronunciation.
After the eventful previous days and quite a stressful long and bumpy 7h30 flight yesterday 😬- with not only strong headwinds but also a diversion - he decided it was time for an unplanned rest day today. And, and a thorough drying day for Sharky 🦈 😉.
Yesterday he passed by a legendary river: the #ganges. This not being a holiday tour 🏝though, visiting Varanasi or any other cultural pearls of India will, unfortunately, have to wait for another time.
So, no further rest for the wicked 😉. Tomorrow, if everything goes according to plan and Mack is up for it, he is off to Changmai, #Thailand 🇹🇭. Another long flight. Another country in #monsoon season. All fingers and toes crossed everyone for an uneventful flight! 🤞🤞🤞💫
