MackSolo Team Update – Day 105 ✈️ 🌍
Flashback to #Ahmadabad, #India 🇮🇳, where it is #monsoon season 🌂. The morning Mack was meant to fly to #NewDelhi, a huge storm ⛈ swept through town... Just watch the video and turn on the sound! Wait for it, wait for it. There you go: some proper thunder and lightning... 😅⚡️
Luckily, it all calmed down, but Sharky
🦈✈️ was soaked, the plane's log book had an impromptu bath 🛁 and the fuel tanks took water💧... Not just a little... When Mack drained fuel from underneath the wings, the entire fuel tester was filled with water... It goes to show how critical it is to check and drain because if water gets to the engine, it... stops. Not really ideal when flying 🤪🙃.
Mack is now in New Delhi, and a with a bit of luck leaving for #kolkata tomorrow. Thank you to Capt DK Sharma of the Indian Navy who kindly showed him around the New Delhi cultural spots (beating some culture into this young man 😇😂😉). Thank you also to the Belgian Ambassador H.E. mr. François Delhaye to New Delhi who treated him to lunch at his residence 🙏.
