Hello South Korea! μλ νμΈμ!
After a relatively easy 5 1/2 hour flight, Mack has landed in #YangYang, #Southkorea π°π·. The 20th country on his route. Wooohooo!!!! πͺ
Zara - Flyzolo - also landed here on her #rtw, but in a different airport than her brother. So, although both flew through Europe, Africa, the Middle East and South-East-Asia, they only landed at the same airfield in:
β Sofia (Bulgaria), home of their sponsor ICDSoft (!)
β Heraklion (Greece)
β Alexandria (Egypt) and
β Mabalacat (Philippines)
The rest of the route and all other stops were differentβ¦ Hello complexity π . That will luckily change further down the line again. Although let's be honest, the route has changed already so often, that we cannot predict anything with certainty anymore π€£.
Pilot & airplane are having 3 days of well-deserved rest and TLC now. Next they are taking off for #Chitose, #Japan π―π΅ on Tuesday morning. The Japanese permit is in and has been delivered in barely a few days. Thank you to the Japanese Civil Aviation Bureau (JCAB) for such efficiency π!
